The Carl R. Young Memorial Scholarship

Each spring, Advancial holds a contest for Dinero members to access online scholarships. This allows them to show their creativity and have a chance at earning cash for college. They can submit videos, powerpoints or even an essay for scholarships. High school graduating juniors and seniors can apply to win one of four $2,500 scholarships.

This scholarship is named in memory of our long time board member and volunteer, Carl R. Young. Carl’s dedication and commitment to Advancial and our members has been a vital part of our growth and success. His wisdom and long-term perspective helped guide and shape Advancial through many transitional moments in our history. As our young members start the next chapter of their lives, we hope this scholarship provides the same help as Carl gave Advancial for so many years.

THE 2023 CARL R. YOUNG MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP IS NOW OPEN!

Eligibility:

1. Applicants must be members of Advancial Dinero Teens.
2. Applicants must be high school graduating juniors or seniors.
3. Funds must be used for educational expenses at an accredited institution.
4. Employees and volunteers of Advancial, its affiliates and their family members are not eligible to apply.

When you are ready to submit your application package, email your entry to marketing@advancial.org. Don't forget to attach the form as well as your submission. You should receive a confirmation email message within 48 business hours.
